Somebody on TT said that affluent artists sing about love because they have no other relatable experiences to the masses. And now I’m hearing Beyonce’s 1+1 like… yes exactly!! She has no clue how to sing about the general experiences of the working class/proletariat so she has to sing about love, heartbreak, her body, etc. Ugh I am forever changed. Same thing happened back when I first learned of Bechdel Test.
